Ático RestaurantOne of Madrid’s finest restaurants is located on the 6th floor of the Principal Madrid Hotel, an informal place for casual dining. The chef draws on traditional dishes and the culinary heritage of various regions of Spain and offers a menu with an emphasis on modern cuisine. Try the famous Fish & Chips from monkfish and potato waffles with romesco sauce and one of the signature desserts.

Weather permitting, Ático can reserve balconies with tables for two people. In the glazed arbors, guests enjoy designer cocktails (the eminent master mixologist is responsible for them) and enjoy the view of the Metropolis building. The average bill is 40-55 €.

The a la carte and tasting menus are based on seasonal ingredients, and each meal is described in detail before serving.

The kitchen is quite creative, just call fried cod with black garlic and tapioca, duck with aromatic herbs and foie gras waffles with coconut foam. All this is served with great fiction and grace, and an experienced sommelier will always come to the rescue with a choice of wine. The restaurant is ideal for romantic dinners and special occasions. A tasting menu of 11 items costs 95 €.
